EINSTYLE DESIGN

As a small boutique design firm we firmly believe in staying plugged in with other small businesses. We want to not only build relationships with our clients but our small business neighbors as well. Combining forces and allowing growth and change to occur can only build up your company.

Ali Einfeld, a local designer who has found her creative niche in jewelry, hand painted plates and sewn personalized pieces is exactly who we want to reach out and connect with. Einstyle Design, was founded in 2008 and has breached a new level of creativity and it all started with a simple question, “do you sell those?”

Style mixed with a unique blend has always been Ali’s trademark when it comes to design. Creating earrings originated as a personal artistic outlet that also served as the perfect accessory. It didn’t take long for this endeavor to catch on with friends and family. Once she discovered the growing interest from so many she decided to run with it, thus establishing Einstyle Design.

Come check out some of her recent work at http://einstyledesign.blogspot.com

Howdy Neighbor!

immixdesign | April 30, 2009

As Immix Design redirects its clientele and moves toward building relations with small businesses we decided what better way to spread the word than through a fun personal mailer. We decided to extend a greeting to our Kirkland neighbors and let them know that we are close by and would love to get to know them.

Immix has taken a liking to our little amphibian friend and decided he would make the best impression and help provide our contact information. Here is a little insight into our design strategy…

frog_mailer3Straight to the drawing board (my sketchbook made from the blank side of old printed sheets) I attacked the mailer with warm ideas of spring. We wanted to provide a refreshing fun piece that was not only informative but personal. In order to accomplish this we went for a homemade mailer that is unique and enjoyable. Our little amphibian friend granted us with just the right touch.

After our successful sketching session we were ready to make it digital. Starting with the front of the piece we went with a belly band feel to give it some dimension. Simple and clean was the goal – we believe that design does not need to be packed full of imagery to be good. Moving to the back created a few complications as we debated about how to handle the attachment.  A die cut was the solution, it allowed for us to create an open and close element.

The final step and also a step that we don’t always get to partake in was the assembly of the piece. Cropping and marking the final design we printed the different parts and began to cut. Needless to say the production proved to be quite therapeutic and rewarding at the same time!
